This appetizer awakens the root with fire and earth—crispy roasted root vegetables kissed by cumin, paprika, and ghee, served with a grounding tahini-beet dip. A perfect opening to stabilize energy and invite sacred digestion.


🥕 Roasted Root Bites

  • 1 small sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium beet, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small carrot, sliced thick
  • 1 tbsp ghee or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Pinch of sea salt and black pepper

Instructions: Toss roots with oil and spices. Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 minutes until crisp-edged and golden.


💗 Earth Dip (Beet-Tahini)

  • 1/2 cooked beet
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1/2 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp warm water to blend
  • Salt to taste

Instructions: Blend all until smooth. Adjust seasoning. Serve in a small clay bowl with roasted roots around it.
