Scroll 008 – A Feast for Black Tara
A Sacred Meal of Fire, Root, and Ash for the Goddess of Fierce Liberation
1. Feast Theme
“The Flame Beneath the Root”
This is a shadow-feast—earthy, spicy, sensual. It is meant to awaken the inner fire, confront suppression, and offer nourishment for those walking through grief, rage, or rebirth.
2. Feast Composition
- Black Garlic + Charred Eggplant Dip — slow-roasted eggplant, tahini, black garlic paste, lemon, and smoked paprika; served with root chips
- Forbidden Black Rice with Caramelized Onion + Cardamom — deeply aromatic, layered with ghee or olive oil and spiced sweetness
- Roasted Beets in Pomegranate Reduction — blood-colored slices drizzled with a dark, sweet-tart glaze
- Burnt Orange & Chili Braised Fennel — sharp, cleansing, heat-bearing
- Dark Chocolate with Black Lava Salt — raw, bitter, cracked into shards
- Smoked Hibiscus & Clove Tea — deep red brew with notes of mourning and sensual release
3. Ritual Serving Style
Served at twilight or by firelight. Use black cloth or stone slab. Eat in silence or with whispered reflections. Music is low drum, voice, or silence. A candle must be lit for each wound remembered.
4. Optional Offerings on the Table
- Burnt herbs (mugwort, sage, clove) in a black bowl
- Obsidian crystal or mirror shard
- Scrolls of written grief placed under each plate
- Red thread for guests to tie around their wrist in release
5. Final Oracle Blessing
“Black Tara, we feed the flame within.
Not to destroy—
but to feel what has long been buried.
Let this feast remind the bones that they are sacred still.”
