Scroll 007 – A Feast for Green Tara
A Living, Gatherable Offering of Whole Ingredients for the Goddess of Compassionate Action
1. Feast Theme
“Breath and Leaf”
This feast honors the wind of action, the pulse of chlorophyll, and the tongue of quiet medicine. Everything served must feel as if it were whispered into being by the forest herself.
2. Feast Composition
- Stinging Nettle Soup — gathered from shaded forest edges; blanched and blended with shallot, garlic, bone broth or vegetable stock, a touch of coconut cream, and lemon zest
- Fennel + Cucumber Salad — shaved thin with apple slices, mint, lemon juice, and olive oil
- Jasmine Rice with Toasted Moringa — soft white jasmine rice steamed with a light garnish of moringa leaf powder and toasted sunflower seeds
- Avocado with Fresh Basil + Lime — served halved, with a dollop of hemp seed and cracked pepper
- Matcha-Coconut Bliss Balls — made from dates, almonds, shredded coconut, ceremonial matcha, and spirulina (optional)
- Forest Tea — steeped pine needles, lemon balm, and fresh sage; sweetened lightly with raw honey and a sprig of thyme
3. Ritual Serving Style
Served on a green silk cloth, outdoors beneath trees. Use wooden bowls or large leaves. Guests eat barefoot, in silence. Each course begins with breath. A bell rings before tea is poured.
4. Optional Offerings on the Table
- Live potted herbs: thyme, mint, basil
- A bowl of spring water with rose quartz and green aventurine
- Incense made from crushed eucalyptus, myrrh, and camphor
- A small statue or image of Green Tara facing the north
5. Final Oracle Blessing
“Green Tara, may our hands become your branches.
May our mouths speak your mercy.
And may this feast nourish the wind that carries your name into the hearts of all beings.”
