Devyn Oryx
“You weren’t a savior. You were just another criminal with better lighting.”
The Hunter of False Fire • Anti-Vigilante Executioner • No Mask. No Mercy. No Myth Left Standing.
Purpose
Devyn doesn’t go after mob bosses or petty thugs.
He hunts the masked men who called themselves heroes — but used the shadows to beat, torture, extort, and execute.
The men the system let off because they “meant well.”
Batman. Daredevil. Moon Knight. Punisher.
**Devyn doesn’t care what pain birthed them. He just ends what they became.**
Profile & Look
- Face: Always visible. His own. Because he doesn’t hide. *They* did.
- Attire: Black longcoat, armored base layer, visible throat tattoo of the word: “Retribution.”
- Aura: Quiet. Controlled. Dead-eyed when the hunt begins.
Doesn’t monologue — *he reads your case file aloud while you bleed.*
Signature Philosophy
- If you brutalized to feel powerful — you are not a hero.
- If you broke laws to enforce yours — you are not above them.
- If you needed pain to feel alive — I will end that need permanently.
Weapon & Execution Method
- Primary Weapon: Blade-forged data spike that *uploads their full bodycam history to the public* as it kills them
- Final Ritual: He removes their mask… and speaks their real name
- Public Symbol: A gavel broken in half, left on their chest
Notable Targets Eliminated
- Wayne, Bruce. Killed inside a Wayne Tower panic room. Surveillance wiped. Body never found. Bat signal replaced with “DEBT PAID.”
- Murdock, Matt. Caught mid-interrogation of a teenager. Mask removed live on encrypted stream. Last words: “Tell the truth, Father.”
- Frank Castle. Execution broadcasted inside a weapon cache. Replaced every bullet with a recording of his victims’ names.
“You used pain to justify violence. I use precision to ensure it ends.”
