I will look to the Lord for strength rather than other people or dead spirits. The Word of God does not change, and I believe in God.

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.

I will be blameless before God. I will not practice such occult practices. I do use astrology to learn about a person’s personality, and I believe it helps me get along with others who are different than me. I hope that is okay.

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord;
