[free book rec] Heal Thyself by Edward Bach

November 5, 2016

I STARTED WRITING a long blog post telling you of all the twists and turns it took me to find this book. Then I pressed delete because it was way too boring and long-winded!

If you’re going through some long standing health issues and are at wit’s end, I recommend reading this short book by Edward Bach, the guy who discovered and created the 38 Bach Flower Remedies.

It gets to the crux of the issue, which is that our negative emotions are manifesting themselves as diseases. Until we get to the root of the problem, the issues will not go away. His 38 Flower Essences are supposed to change the energy systems in our body so that the old emotional patterns fade away.

I’ve experienced the shifts myself, having tried his Wild Oat, Walnut, and super popular and highly rated Rescue Remedy. The effects are very subtle, don’t expect them to work like extra strength nyquil or a large cup of coffee. But if you’re sensitive enough, and I suspect you are if you’re reading this, you will notice the changes too.

For fans of You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay, this book will be a delight. The actual content is less than 50 pages long. And it’s FREE!

“Disease is, in essence, the result of conflict between soul and mind, and will never be eradicated except by spiritual and mental effort.”

“Seek the outstanding mental conflict in the person, give him the remedy that will overcome that conflict and all the hope and encouragement you can, then the virtue within him will, itself do all the rest.”

“Suffering is a corrective to point out a lesson which by other means we have failed to grasp, and never can it be eradicated until that lesson is learnt.”
