“The Legend of Kyle Schwarber”

October 28, 2016

I really enjoyed reading this story and want to share it with you.

I’m not into sports, but I do like to keep track of any stories about underdogs, comebacks, and excellence.

This one’s about persistence, coming back from the bottom, belief in self, optimism, pulling off the impossible, and greatness.

So the basic story is that Chicago Cubs player Kyle Schwarber was out with a season ending injury. He tore two knee ligaments and spent 6 months learning to walk again. His season was guaranteed over. But somehow he rose from the dead, played in the first two games of the World Series, and not only that, he is whoopin ass.

Even his teammates are astonished.
They say that normally it takes a lot of spring training just to prepare for the regular season. And that’s when you’re not injured!

ImPossible.
